To celebrate United Nation's International Day of Disabled Persons, The Society of Disabled Persons Penang (SDPP), Buddhist Light International Association (BLIA) and Un Khuay Hoay Kuan are organizing a blood donation campaign on the 7th December 2003, at the Seminar Room in Caring Complex.
This is not the first time we organised blood donation campaign. In fact, this is the 5th time we organised blood donation campaign. The disabled persons and our friends who having been supporting us all these years, they are very happy to be given this opportunity to donate their blood. The disabled persons are willing and happy to be good citizens and to contribute whatever they have back to society. And we hope the non-disabled persons will respect us and regard us as their equals.
